These boats are on the south side of the beach. walk toward and then past them. That will lead you to the stairs.
Look for these painted trees. They're right next to the stairs you'll use to get up on the road.
the stairs next to the painted tree. Can't guarentee the dude in the speedo will be there - but you never know. They're pretty subtle but the painted trees are JUST to the left of these steps.
The steps will spit you up on to this road along the water. Take a right at the top of the stairs and walk away from town.
The road takes you to the Villa Amor hotel complex. Stay on it. You'll walk through reception and past their restaurant and past everything. It's a thoroughfare that leads to Playa de los Muertos. So don't be werided out.
These surfboards are on the left side of the road as you walk through Villa Amor. The people in this picture are in front of the bar/restaurant. Keep going. You're getting closer.
Once you've passed the hotel, the road continues along the water adn then takes a hard left turn up a hill to the cemetery. There will be a big arch you'll walk under, a huge unfinished construction site will be on your left and this scene will be on your right. Keep going over the hill. DO NOT TURN RIGHT. This Panteon sign is at an intersection(ish). DO NOT TURN RIGHT. Walk past this part of the cemetary - keep it on your right - but don't turn.
You'll need to stay on the road and the cemetery will be on both sides of you. This is what it looks like if you were to enter it.
You'll walk down this hill and at the bottom, you'll see a structure on your right - like a big palapa. You'll see the beach just past it. Turn right. Go to the beach.
Those rocks in the background - that's where you're headed. This couple is standing on the rocks on the left side of the beach. Don't go left. Go right - walk the length of the beach.
This is where you'll start your climb. See, it's not to hard. Just keep climbing over the rocks. You'll see the secret beach - stay close to the hill. See how the dirt and sand meet the rock - you'll know where to enter.
The trail leads up beside this tree. You'll come down behind it - impossible to miss. I'll be watching for you from a safe distance. I'll have a long lens on. I can't really hide or I'll miss you, but I'll try to look like I'm photographing something else.
