About

Our lives are all collections of moments and I am a photographer because of moments. Capturing and sharing them is my joy. I'm an award-winning photojournalist working as a destination wedding and portrait photographer available for weddings and family gatherings internationally.

My documentary approach is unobstrusive, honest and subtle. I blend in. I make my subjects feel comfortable. I watch, I wait and work hard to never miss a moment.

I have a master's degree in photojournalism from Ohio University. I worked for newspapers in New Mexico, Maine, Delaware, Virginia, Montana & Washington. My domestic & international photography has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, Women in Photojournalism & College Photographer of the Year. I live a life less ordinary in San Pancho, Mexico.

This is where I live. Really. It's a little village about 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It's quiet. It's beautiful. I love it. If you're interested in staying here, check out San Pancho Rentals. It's my friend's family business and they'll help you find a fantastic place to stay that just fits.

I was recently featured in El Sayulero, a newsletter that is all things Sayulita. The article tells my origin story. Here's a link

Me on my wedding day in 2012

The ear tends to be lazy, craves the familiar and is shocked by the unexpected; the eye, on the other hand, tends to be impatient, craves the novel and is bored by repetition.
— W.H. Auden
